ROBIN HADLEY

Research on older men who are involuntarily childless is important not only because of actual and projected demographic change but also because of the very small evidence base relating to the effects of involuntary childlessness on men as they age. My study aims to record the life experiences of men aged 50 and over who don’t have children, but who, now or in the past, wanted to be a father.

UK CO HOUSING NETWORK

Co-housing communities are intentional communities created and run by their residents. Each resident has a self-contained, private home, but residents come together to manage their community, share activities and sometimes eat together. Cohousing is a way of combating the alienation and isolation many experience today, recreating the neighbourly support of the past.
